The number of players of card games is on the rise! A site where you can browse the venue of "Pokemon World Championships 2008" and its results of battles. More than 400 Pokemon players from 30 countries have participated in fervent battles. With a bracket adopted as the interface to be arranged in 3D space, it was able to express a realistic sensation and sense of speed of the battles and in addition, a sense of speriority and accomplishment as the world's highest ranking meet.
I used away3D of Actionscript3 library to express 3-dimensional space. The seamlessly connected expression from 2 dimension to 3 dimension after the user choose menu was designed to give a big surprise to users. Also, I was conscious of the smooth motion as if it is one of movie scenes and doesn’t make users feel heavy move. I prepared more than 100 mock-ups, and raised the production efficiency and quality by simultaneously enforcing both design and Flash.
